What this means

  • Rockstar is spending on launch marketing at a scale rarely seen in games — a real-world brand crossover inside an NBA arena, not just billboards.
  • The crossover puts GTA 6 in front of a mainstream sports audience that may not follow game releases — hype beyond the core fanbase.
  • Expect more Miami activations in the final month: Rockstar has been layering the takeover week by week since the neon sign lit up on October 1.

Key facts

  • Date: October 21, 2026 — photos surfaced on X
  • What: Kaseya Center (Miami Heat arena) burger stand rebranded as GTA's Burger Shot
  • Source: fan photos on X (via @videotech / @GTAVI_Countdown, @nvtnp_), reported by The Daily Game News, GTABoom and Undercode News
  • Context: "A Night in Vice City" — Heat vs. Bucks, November 18, with a GTA 6-themed court and uniforms
  • Unclear: whether the stand serves a themed menu or is decorative only

Photos shared on X on October 21 show a burger restaurant inside Miami's Kaseya Center — the home arena of the Miami Heat — rebranded as Burger Shot, the fictional fast-food chain from the Grand Theft Auto universe. Images show the stand carrying the Burger Shot name, with Macca & Friends and Vice City posters displayed inside the venue.

The rebrand is the latest piece of Rockstar Games' Miami takeover ahead of Grand Theft Auto 6's November 19 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The arena already sports a neon "Welcome to Vice City" sign, and on November 18 — the night before release — the Heat host "A Night in Vice City" against the Milwaukee Bucks, with a special court design, new uniforms, and an exclusive merchandise collection.

One question remains unanswered: whether the stand will serve a themed menu or is purely decorative. In GTA, Burger Shot's menu includes "The Heartstopper" — a burger built from seven stacked beef patties — so the smart money is on branding rather than a literal menu translation.

It is the most visible sign yet that Rockstar is dragging GTA 6's fictional brands into the real world: earlier this week, labels for GTA-linked beers from a Florida brewery cleared US federal review, and in September Rockstar revealed a $400 GTA 6 Collector's Edition.

Based on fan-shared photos on X and multiple independent outlet reports (TDGN, GTABoom, Undercode News); Rockstar has not issued a press statement on the rebrand, and whether a themed menu exists is unconfirmed.
