What this means
- This is a pitch, not a confirmed mission — treat any “tiger mission confirmed” claims you see elsewhere as untrue.
- It confirms Rockstar actively took open mission pitches from developers early in GTA 6's development.
- A pet tiger/jaguar fits Leonida: GTA 6's Florida-inspired map includes 170+ wildlife species and the Grassrivers wetlands.

- What changed: Nothing confirmed in-game; a “Pet Tiger” mission was pitched during development, fate unknown
A GTA 6 mission involving a pet tiger may exist — or may have never made it past the pitch stage. Former Rockstar Games designer Jérémy Hartvick has revealed that he personally pitched a “Pet Tiger” mission during GTA 6's development.
Speaking exclusively to Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly in the latest episode of Kiwi Talkz on the Insider Gaming app, Hartvick said Rockstar had an open invitation for developers to design and detail mission ideas. His submission: the Pet Tiger mission.
The catch is that a pitch is all it was. Hartvick explained that whoever finalized the game's content would decide whether an idea fit within the storyline, could work as a side mission, or was dropped entirely. He offered no details about what the mission would have involved, and added: “If there is a pet tiger mission or pet jaguar or whatever, that might be mine.”
The interview landed at a time when the game was more flexible: Hartvick noted that the main storyline was still being woven when he pitched, so it was easier to float ideas then. That leaves the fate of the tiger mission — and possibly a jaguar variant — an open question until launch on November 19.
