What this means

  • Six singles across six genres show Rockstar casting the net wide — Leonida's soundtrack is meant to sound like a whole state, not one radio station.
  • The two-year secret co-production with Atlantic signals music is a headline feature of GTA 6, not an afterthought.
  • The limited vinyl selling out in hours for the UK/EU shows demand — if you want a physical copy, pre-order rather than wait for launch day.

Key facts

  • What's new: 34-track original soundtrack, November 19 release, 6 singles out now, physical editions $19.98–$124.98

Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album — a 34-track original soundtrack made for the game, releasing November 19, the same day GTA VI launches. Six of the 34 songs are streaming now.

The revealed singles span rap, pop, electronic, country, Latin, and rock: Yung Lean's "That's It" featuring Future and Metro Boomin; Travis Scott's "RHYNO," produced by Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo; "Sexy Magic," a five-way collaboration between CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., and Etienne de Crécy; Morgan Wallen's "Last Thing You Need"; Rauw Alejandro's "Macacoa 2000"; and Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards' "Bright Lights, Big City." The remaining 28 tracks stay secret for now.

Physical editions are on pre-order through the album's own store: a CD at $19.98, a standard vinyl at $49.98, and a limited edition vinyl — two transparent magenta discs filled with blue liquid — at $124.98, which sold out for UK and European buyers within hours. Retailer-exclusive vinyl colorways are also available through chains like Target, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, and Urban Outfitters. Atlantic Records described the record as "34 original tracks that capture the electric energy of Vice City and Leonida, from a genre-defying artist roster."

Notably, the game itself ships on a download code with no disc in the box — so on November 19, what fans physically shelve is the album, not the game. Rockstar has promised more music news ahead, "including the dynamic score, the next evolution of in-game radio, and more."
