What this means

  • This is the first official look at GTA 6's radio dial — six stations spanning Latin, country, Afrobeats, metal, pop and Southern rap, each with named hosts.
  • On-demand podcasts and on-foot listening through phones are franchise firsts — the “next evolution of in-game radio” Rockstar teased is real.
  • With the 34-track official album landing November 19 alongside the game, music is shaping up to be one of GTA 6's headline features, not background audio.

Key facts

  • Announced: October 8, 2026 — official Rockstar announcement (six stations, hosts, podcasts)
  • The stations: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM, Dirty South Classics
  • Firsts: on-demand podcasts; radio + podcasts playable on foot via headphones/earbuds linked to smartphones
  • Previews: station previews streaming now in the music section of Rockstar's website
  • Also: Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album — 34 original tracks with Atlantic Records, out November 19 on CD, vinyl and collector's discs

Rockstar Games has officially revealed the first six radio stations of Grand Theft Auto VI — the first confirmed details of the game's radio dial, announced October 8, 2026:

Cocoteo FM — Leonida's home for modern Latin music, from bachata and merengue to dembow and reggaeton. Hosted by El Martillo (Bad Bunny) and La Gata (RaiNao).

Back Country Radio — renegade country beamed to the Grassrivers and Port Gellhorn. Hosted by MW and Delta Dawne, with Mud Dog Mike reporting from his airboat.

AfroBank FM — African music from 20th-century classics to amapiano and 3-step. Hosted by Burna (Burna Boy) and Palmsy (Palms Trax).

The Chamber 106.6 — crushing metal from the '80s and beyond. Hosted by DJ Kerry (Kerry King) and DJ Tom (Tom Araya).

Flash FM — the Vice City institution returns with the best in pop. Hosted by Robyn and Alex Cosani.

Dirty South Classics — regional rap and hip-hop classics. Hosted by Trick (Trick Daddy) and Trina.

Rockstar also confirmed two franchise firsts: a series of on-demand podcasts, and the ability to listen to radio and podcasts on foot through headphones and earbuds connected to Jason and Lucia's smartphones — not just in vehicles. Previews of all six stations are streaming now in the music section of Rockstar's website, alongside three new screenshots of Leonida.

The reveal pairs with Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, officially announced September 17 — 34 original tracks made for Vice City and Leonida with Atlantic Records, out November 19, 2026 (same day as the game) on standard CD, vinyl and liquid-filled collector's discs. Six tracks are already streaming, including songs by Travis Scott, PinkPantheress, Fred again.., Keith Richards, Morgan Wallen and Rauw Alejandro.
